Interior – July 2012 John painted our kitchen and family room and did an excellent job.

Exterior – John did such a nice job on the interior we had him come back and do the exterior of our house.

Again, John and his team did an excellent job. John was great to work with and we would definitely use J & L painting again.John was right in line with his bid compared to other painters. Due to John being able to work within our time frame we choose John. John’s team came in and taped and did a great job painting and was done in one day. No problems.We needed the exterior of our house done so we asked John for a bid. Again his bid was right in line with others. We have had our house stained in the past but John was the first to really power wash and fill in cracks where it was needed. He choose a superior product that covered our house very nicely. John and his crew painted the majority of my home including the trim, ceiling, and fixed dry wall in the master bathroom.

We had some cedar siding that was rotted and cracked that needed to be replaced and the outside of our home painted/stained. John was very prompt in coming out to review our needs and give us a bid for the painting and replacement of bad siding. He was out about a week before the scheduled start date to power wash and clean the areas to prep for our start date of 8/20. John and crew arrived at the specified time and promptly started working on our job. We added on an item on the first day and John quoted the additional work. John worked it into their schedule and still finished on time. John and crew were very pleasant and polite to work with. They did a great job of keeping thnings clean and the final cleanup. Great experience. Would use again.

Power washed exterior, caulked over-driven nails in siding, covered rusty nail heads on trim. Painted complete exterior of house.

Everything about this job was done right. From the initial estimate to the final contract, John was direct and easy to work with. The work took about 4 days total. Each day, John and his crew showed up exactly when they said. The quality of their work was excellent. If there was any question about a detail, they got a clear answer from us before working and then did exactly as we asked. The whole project went exactly the way this kind of work should be done. It went phenominally well. I can’t say enough about how fabulous J&L is to work with. I contacted 4 painters for estimates, but had pretty much decided on J&L based on the reviews on Angies List. And my instinct was correct. John is great! He came out, gave us an estimate in a very timely manner, negotiated the price to get it where we be comfortable. My husband and I quit smoking and after smoking in the house for 17 years, it was horrible. John was on time every day, he worked hard for a good 11 hours a day and was at our house for 5 days. I didn’t really have any dealings with his partner, Jeff, but my husband did, and raved about how great he was as well.  Jeff did a beautiful job on the drywall in the family room. All the work they did looks so wonderful.
